The Sonic high capacity 2-stage filter assembly is ideally suited to high dust and dirt environments where Sonic’s standard cartridge filter becomes loaded too quickly. To handle those hostile conditions, Sonic places the 2 micron cartridge filter (the 2^nd stage) inside a filter box containing (2)panel filters (1^st stage). This compact designed high capacity 2-stage filter is rated up to 1,100 CFM (34 mᵌ/min) to allow Sonic blowers to operate with reduced filter service in hostile environments.
