To handle those hostile conditions, Sonic places the 2 micron cartridge filter (the 2nd stage) inside a filter box containing (2)panel filters (1st stage). This compact designed high-capacity 2-stage filter is rated up to 1,100 CFM (34 mᵌ/min) to allow Sonic blowers to operate with reduced filter service in hostile environments.
